Anthracite uPVC Fascias & Soffits with Stainless Steel Guttering in Box Hill, Surrey
The Challenge
The property had developed a visually inconsistent exterior following a previous extension. The main house featured white uPVC fascias and soffits with black half-round guttering, while the porch addition had already been finished in anthracite grey roofline materials and cladding.
The different colours and profiles created a disjointed appearance between the original property and the extension. The customer wanted to bring the entire exterior together under a single, modern colour scheme while taking the opportunity to upgrade the existing rainwater system to a more durable stainless steel solution.
The Solution
Rather than attempting to integrate the existing materials, we carried out a complete strip-out of the existing roofline and guttering. This included removing the white uPVC fascias and soffits from the main property, the existing black guttering, and the previous cladding and roofline materials associated with the porch.
Following preparation of the existing structure, new anthracite grey uPVC fascias and soffits were installed around the property, creating a consistent roofline throughout.
The existing rainwater system was replaced with 304 grade stainless steel ogee guttering and matching metal downpipes. The stainless steel system provides a robust, corrosion-resistant rainwater solution while adding a sharper architectural finish to the roofline.
The porch gable apex was also reclad in matching anthracite shiplap cladding.
Together, the new roofline, stainless steel guttering and porch cladding create a unified exterior that complements the property’s white render and dark-framed windows.
