Complete flat roof rebuild with EPDM rubber roof to warm roof specification, Nottingham

Rebuilding the flat roof

Our Nottingham team have just completed the rebuild of a flat roof in Nottingham. Rainwater was ponding across the roof and failing to run away causing damp internally across the walls and ceiling.

We stripped the old roof covering down to the existing rafters which were then checked for signs of decay. New OSB board was fixed to the rafters. Damp proof membrane was then laid onto the new boards along with rigid insulation fitted on the top of the roof. Rigid insulation was also fitted between the rafters to complete the roof to a warm roof specification.
